Anderson Dahlen Provides OEM Contract Manufacturing In Partnership With Demaco

Successful partnerships allow companies to focus their resources into core strengths, resulting in optimum value for end-customers. Such is the case with Demaco & Anderson Dahlen Inc. These companies have been in business together for decades. The formation of a strong partnership has allowed both business to gain significant market share and successfully complete numerous large-scale projects.

The De Francisci Machine Company (Demaco) is an industry leader in manufacturing sanitary pasta extruders for prepared foods and fresh pasta. They are celebrating 100 years in business, and over this time have developed technology and solutions that provide lasting customer value and produce superior food products.

Our partnership with Anderson Dahlen has allowed us to direct our resources into customer service, pure engineering and pasta processing technology. This has been a tremendous strategic advantage for DEMACO, our assets and resources are precisely focused on the activities that matter most to customers and as a result we are outpacing our competition in both innovation and growth. When it comes to quality manufacturing, we are perfectly confident in Anderson Dahlen. Our teams work so well together that each functions as a mutually supporting extension of the other.Joe DeFrancisci

Anderson Dahlen has been in business for 75 years, providing OEM custom contract-manufacturing services to a variety of industries including food, chemical, pharmaceutical, nuclear and vacuum; as well as providing parts and sub-assemblies to specialty equipment manufacturers. Their business model consists of teams overseeing their projects from start to finish under the direction of a Project Manager. Each Project Manager has dedicated resources including engineering, design, fabrication, welding and assembly personnel and equipment. These resources along with a quality system that develops inspection and test packages for each project are designed to provide customers with unparalleled craftsmanship and expertise.

Anderson Dahlen has always maintained a strategy to reinvest a large portion of our capital back into the company – improved manufacturing technologies, training and development of personnel, the latest engineering programs. We recently added nearly 100,000 ft^2 and significant new equipment to our manufacturing facility. By consistently providing high quality stainless steel fabrication and integration services, as well as continuous improvement in our capabilities and capacity; ADI has developed an extremely loyal customer base representing a wide range of products and industries. We look forward to continuing in those partnerships and adding many more.Tom Knoll, President

These two companies have maintained a strong partnership for over 20 years. Demaco has increasingly relied on Anderson Dahlen’€™s manufacturing resources, allowing their own resources to focus on designing and servicing equipment specific to end customer needs. The demand for equipment has increased, and with that both companies have scaled up. Recently, Anderson Dahlen expanded its facility with 100,000 square feet of new manufacturing and new equipment. At approximately 200 employees and 40 million annual revenue, Anderson Dahlen has ample resources to satisfy Demaco’€™s equipment orders with efficiency and quality.

To meet with Demcao’€™s high standards, Anderson Dahlen controls as much of the fabrication as possible within their own facility. Including certified welding which is qualified to American Welding Society (AWS) and American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) welding procedures. And a complete machine shop with expansive capabilities including water jet & laser cutting, roll forming equipment, press brakes, and some of the largest CNC machining equipment available. And of course state-of-the-art inspection equipment is available to assure critical features are exactly as required.

The combined engineering team has decades of experience with pasta equipment and other food manufacturing applications ‘€“ mixers, extruders, skid systems, full production lines and turn-key plant operations. Production systems are continually modernized to improve costs, production output, efficiency, industry regulation compliance, and other factors. Every end-customer has specific requirements which are incorporated into a specific test and approval process, typically involving factory visits during the project and for final acceptance.

Our unique Project Management system provides a single point of contact for our customers ‘€“ documenting the project requirements, planning the engineering and manufacturing requirements, monitoring progress so the project stays on track, and ultimately following through to assure the customer is satisfied with the results.Bob Knoll, Engineering Manager
