Employee Spotlight: Larry Forseth

Meet Larry! Larry Forseth is a Fabricator II at Anderson Dahlen. With over 30 years of experience as a welder and fabricator, Larry brings exceptional skill and expertise to his role at Anderson Dahlen. As a Fabricator, Larry works primarily in the fabrication department, where he’s responsible for forming parts to print. But his day-to-day is anything but routine; he often supports the saw and water jet departments and steps in wherever he’s needed. For Larry, that variety is one of the best parts of the job.

When asked to describe ADI in one word, Larry said, “versatile.” It’s a fitting description for both the company and his own approach to work. “The people here are a big part of why I enjoy being part of this team,” he says.

Larry recently graduated from the Minnesota Dual-Training Pipeline program, a hands-on training opportunity for team members to expand their technical skillset. “My motivation to join was to expand my knowledge and to enhance and diversify ADI’s capabilities,” he explains. Larry plans to continue in the program to grow his skills. “The program was awesome,” he adds. “I really enjoyed learning more about manual mills and lathes.”

Looking ahead, Larry is excited to use his broad range of experience to be even more useful to the company. His most valuable piece of advice is, “work smarter, not harder,” and “never trust the print, always check yourself.”

When he’s not on the floor, you’ll likely find Larry relaxing with two of his favorite hobbies: smoking meats and fishing. Even outside of work, he brings the same patience, precision, and passion to everything he does.
