Anderson Dahlen manufactures custom industrial conveyor belt systems based on customer-supplied drawings, specifications, and quality requirements. With our in-house manufacturing expertise, we focus on fabricating complex conveyor builds, delivering the high weld quality and dimensional accuracy required for demanding industrial and sanitary environments.
Typically, our industrial conveyor belt systems feature a cantilevered support structure that allows easy belt removal, and the corrosion-resistant bearing housings are lubed/sealed for life. Drive options include motorized pulley, shaft-mounted gear motors, and timing belt or chain drive based on your specific application. Optional spray bars protect the product by in-place washing of the belting, belt scrapers, covers, and catch pans, supporting longer belt life.
A private-label food manufacturer faced severe spatial constraints: eight feet of vertical product descent, but only a 100″ x 100″ footprint to work with. Standard equipment wouldn’t fit. Anderson Dahlen engineered a stainless steel spiral lowerator purpose-built for their exact operation and delivering the descent they needed in the space they had.
Belt conveyor systems are used for bulk material handling and to transport products and materials throughout manufacturing and processing environments. They support applications involving powders, granules, packaged products, and other bulk or production materials. They’re commonly used in food handling, packaging, and food processing applications.
Yes. Our belt conveyor systems can be customized with different drive options, belt materials, belt conveyor types, covers, catch pans, spray bars, and mounting configurations based on the operational requirements of the application. For example, many standard conveyor belts can’t withstand high temperatures without damage. If your belt conveyor will be used for high temperature applications, we’ll customize a durable belt based on necessary material characteristics.
Drive options include motorized pulleys, shaft-mounted gear motors, timing belt drives, and chain drives. Conveyor drive configurations are selected based on the application, operating environment, and material handling requirements.
Yes. Our belt conveyors are designed with stainless steel, continuously welded frame construction, and optional spray bars for in-place belt washing. Removable return idler pulleys and easy-access conveyor designs also help support cleaning and regular maintenance procedures.
Yes. We manufacture belt conveyors with horizontal, inclined, or declined mounting configurations, depending on your facility layout, material flow requirements, and system design. This can be especially helpful for facilities with complex layouts.
Features such as cantilevered support structures, removable return idler pulleys, corrosion-resistant bearings, quick-release take-ups, and optional spray bars improve accessibility for belt removal, cleaning, and routine maintenance.
Optional features include cable switches, covers, catch pans, and belt scrapers designed to support conveyor operation, product protection, and overall system functionality within the manufacturing environment.
