Acquisition by Gray enhances Anderson Dahlen’s capabilities and services for its customers

Anderson Dahlen is proud to become part of the Gray family, as it was acquired by Gray Inc. on September 3, 2020. Gray Inc. is a global leader in Food and Beverage facility solutions with nine operating companies including Gray Construction. This acquisition provides Gray new capabilities for stainless-steel manufacturing of key critical equipment for the Food and Beverage industry. It also expands Anderson Dahlen’s resources to serve customers in the Food, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, and Vacuum Technology markets.

This acquisition is a natural extension of Anderson Dahlen’s strategic growth and marketing plans while maintaining a great cultural fit, family ownership, safety focus, and access to Gray’s strong organization. As customer models have changed over recent years, Anderson Dahlen has significantly improved its ability to listen to customer needs and solve those challenges by building complex integrated processing equipment. Merging Anderson Dahlen’s people and capabilities with Gray’s unique approach of construction and equipment integration services will provide the Food and Beverage marketplace a more capable leader for turnkey builds and facility expansions. While also expanding Anderson Dahlen’s customer and geographic reach tremendously.

The future is bright for Anderson Dahlen’s customers and employees after 75 years of growth. Gray Inc. and its subsidiaries bring a significantly expanded customer base and pipeline of new projects that will keep ADI strong and growing. They build turnkey manufacturing plants and now add Anderson Dahlen’s capability to deliver sophisticated processing equipment as well.

Anderson Dahlen will maintain its headquarters in Ramsey MN and continue operations under its
