ADI Spotlight: Mitch Breit

Meet Mitch! Mitch Breit is the Quality Assurance Manager at ADI. Mitch’s background consists of a Technical Diploma in Welding from Moraine Park Technical College, a Technical Diploma in Marine Construction from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, and BSC in Manufacturing Operations Management from University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. He also has certifications, which include Certified Welding Inspector through American Welding Society, Gray Inc. Leadership Academy through Horizon Performance, and OSHA 30 General Industry certificate.

Mitch has been with ADI for close to 5 years (in a few different roles) with his most recent responsibilities being that of Quality Assurance Supervisor. Mitch brings a great deal of experience in manufacturing from roles he’s had prior to ADI, and has continued to gain expertise in ISO and ASME compliance, process definition, document control, data analytics, auditing, inspection… and all things quality. “Since I’ve started, not only have we grown from a revenue standpoint, but we’ve also brought on a lot of talented team members with unique backgrounds. I think this has helped us look at situations from different perspectives and come up with great solutions,” said Mitch.

His day-to-day activities involve working with our manufacturing team, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality issues, strategic planning around company-wide quality objectives such as on-time delivery, nonconformances, and ISO 9001 compliance, and providing support to his team on their projects. Mitch’s favorite part of what he does is helping his team develop their skills and abilities. “It’s very exciting to see someone grow in their role and realize their potential,” he said. In one word or phrase, he describes ADI as “Dynamic.”

When asked what his favorite part about being a member of the ADI team is, he said, “the team at ADI has a lot of grit. As long as I’ve worked here, there has never seemed to be a challenge that is too big or difficult to overcome.” His most memorable experience with ADI is participating in the Gray Inc. Leadership Academy. “I enjoyed meeting colleagues from other Gray companies and learning about their roles and organizations.”
